The MSC Shop is run by the Muslim Student Council ("MSC"), the national umbrella body for AhlulBayt Islamic Societies in the UK — a not-for-profit student organisation run by volunteers. MSC is not currently a registered charity. Contact us at secretary@themsc.co.uk.
Adding items to your basket and paying on our Stripe checkout page is an offer to buy. We accept it when we email you an order confirmation with your order reference (e.g. MSC-2026-0042); the contract is made at that point. If we cannot accept your order — because an item is no longer available, or because of a clear pricing or description error — we will tell you and refund anything you have paid in full.
Prices are in pounds sterling and are the prices shown at the time you order. MSC is not VAT-registered, so no VAT is charged and the price shown is the full amount you pay. Delivery is charged as shown on the Delivery page and at checkout. Payment is taken in full at checkout by Stripe; we never see your card details. Where a discount code is used, it applies to the items and not to delivery, and to one order only.
Stock is held for you from the moment you start checkout and is released again if you do not complete payment within 30 minutes. Quantities are limited to what we have; if two people reach the last item at once the first to start checkout gets it and the other is told at checkout.
We post within the UK only, or you can collect free of charge at an MSC event. Timescales, costs and how collection works are on the Delivery page. Digital items are sent to the email address you give at checkout and nothing is posted.
Digital tickets and downloads are personal to the buyer. Access details are sent by email; sharing them is not permitted. If an event is cancelled by us we will refund tickets in full; if it is rescheduled your ticket remains valid for the new date.
Our liability to you for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including postal strikes.
